Composition

To render the magic performance of Chinese brushwork and water color on canvas, I first drew the peonies on Chinese paper. Then, I took photographs of the leaves and made copies of them. After the flowers and leaves were integrated in the composition, I collaged them on canvas. This re-creates the alluring images of the peonies as I saw them in my mind.
